At Coastal Logistics Group, resilience and reliability are at the core of how we serve our customers, employees, and partners. We have developed a comprehensive Business Continuity Plan to ensure operational stability and safety, even in the face of unexpected disruptions.

SCOPE

This plan applies to all Coastal Logistics Group facilities, employees, contractors, IT systems, and supply chain partners. It covers short-term incidents (e.g., localized power outages, weather-related delays) as well as severe or prolonged disruptions such as natural disasters, major supply chain interruptions, and other crises.

KEY ELEMENTS OF OUR PLAN

1. Plan Activation – Our leadership team activates the plan in the event of:

  • Severe weather events (hurricanes, floods, snow, etc.)
  • Natural disasters or other emergencies
  • Significant utility or network outages
  • Major transportation shutdowns
  • Security incidents or government-declared emergencies

2. Critical Business Functions – Our top priorities during a disruption are:

  • Employee safety
  • Communication and customer service
  • Freight and cargo movement
  • Warehouse and inventory management
  • Transportation scheduling and routing
  • Compliance and safety reporting

3. Communication StrategyIn the event of a disruption, Coastal Logistics Group will share updates through:

4. Alternate Work Arrangements

When necessary, we utilize remote work and flexible scheduling to maintain continuity of operations.

5. Weather & Natural Disaster Response

  • Employee Safety – Operations are suspended if conditions are unsafe.
  • Asset Protection – Cargo, vehicles, and equipment are secured or relocated as needed.
  • Customer Communication – We provide regular updates on shipment status and recovery timelines.
  • Rapid Recovery – Priority is given to urgent and time-sensitive deliveries.

6. Information & Technology Continuity

We maintain backup systems and redundant data storage to safeguard critical information and ensure secure communication with customers during outages.

7. Safety & Training

All employees receive regular safety and emergency preparedness training. Facility-specific evacuation routes, shelter locations, and first aid resources are in place across all locations

8. Ongoing Plan Maintenance

Our Business Continuity Plan is reviewed quarterly and updated following major events. The latest version is always available at your request.
